One Person Dead After Head-On Collision in Monongalia County

The Morgantown Police Department is investigating a fatal head-on collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The accident happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Don Knotts Blvd., and Smithtown Road.

UPDATE: Passenger in 'Fair Condition' After Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Monongalia County

According to Ruby Memorial Hospital, Cynthia Murray, the passenger on the motorcycle involved in a fatal collision Sunday near Don Knotts Blvd., is currently in fair condition. Police said a 1994 GMC pick up truck was traveling north from Smithtown road entering the intersection of Don Knotts Blvd, when it collided with a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle traveling south on Don Knotts Blvd. His wife, Cynthia, remains at Ruby Memorial Hospital. A passenger of the motorcycle was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The accident happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Don Knotts Blvd., and Smithtown Road.
