Man dies, 2 injured in Bayfield County crash

A 79-year-old Bayfield man is dead and two others are injured after a three-vehicle collision in Bayfield County. According to the county sheriff's department, deputies received a call at about 4 p.m. Friday about the crash in the town of Bayview, south of the city of Bayfield. When emergency officials arrived, they found that three vehicles were involved and Roger Bristol had died at the scene. The two others were transported to the hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life threatening.
