Two killed in Shawano County crash

SHAWANO COUNTY--- Two people were killed Friday night after a crash involving a motorcycle and two other vehicles. The Shawano County Sheriff's Office says a pickup truck was driving south when it crossed the center line and hit the motorcycle traveling north bound. It happened on STH 47 about 100 feet south of Old 47 Road in the Township of Hartland. It then continued and hit a Chevy suburban that was following the motorcycle, being driven by the wife of the man on the motorcycle. The crash is still under investigation.

2 dead, 3 injured after Shawano County crash

Two people are dead and three are injured after a pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic and smashed into a motorcycle and a sports utility vehicle in Shawano County. According the county sheriff's department, a pickup driven by a 42-year-old De Pere man crossed the center line and hit the motorcycle and a SUV Friday night. The De Pere man and the 55-year-old Milwaukee man driving the motorcycle died. Law enforcement closed State Highway 47 in the town of Hartland from about 10:30 p.m. until just after 2 a.m. The Milwaukee's man 53-year-old wife and her two children, a 16-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, were in the SUV and were taken to a local hospital.

Motorcyclist, pickup driver killed in 3 vehicle Shawano County crash

The motorcyclist and the pickup driver were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. All three occupants of the Suburban were taken to the Shawano Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is not known.

Victims of Crash Near Bonduel Identified

Police say Garvey’s truck hit the motorcycle first then collided head on with the SUV, which was being driven by Datoka’s wife. Two children, ages 12 and 16, were also in the SUV. Both Garvey and Datoka were pronounced dead at the scene.
