Brown County sheriff's authorities have identified the driver who was killed and the passenger who was injured when a box truck exploded in the Green Bay area.
Brown County sheriff's authorities have identified the driver who was killed and the passenger who was injured when a box truck exploded in the Green Bay area. Fifty-nine-year-old Gerald Throw, of the Oconto County community of Sobieski, died in the accident. Twenty-nine-year-old Jose Perez, of Green Bay, is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The two were turning into a driveway in the village of Howard Thursday afternoon when the truck's load shifted forward and pierced the compressed natural gas fuel system, causing it to explode. The truck is leased to Ace Manufacturing, which is located near the scene of the accident.
