The Wisconsin State Patrol on Monday identified the suspect and the trooper injured in a crash Sunday on Highway 41 in Menasha.
The Wisconsin State Patrol on Monday identified the suspect and the trooper injured in a crash Sunday on Highway 41 in Menasha. Trooper Justin Hansen, 36, was at the scene of a crash on Highway 41 southbound near Winchester Road when a car driven by Brian Van Lankveldt, 41, of Little Chute, lost control and hit the trooper, according to a news release. Hansen was taken to Theda Clark with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Van Lankveldt was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.
