Fatal accident in Fond du Lac County

Highway 23 and Seven Hills Road will be closed for the next several hours as investigators work to re-create the accident site.

Mount Calvary requested two ambulances from the city of Fond du Lac and both Flight for Life and Theda Star helicopters.

Sheriff's official say a 37-year-old Sheboygan Falls man and a 4-year-old boy died Wednesday afternoon when their car was struck head-on by a semi.

The news release said the female driver of the SUV and a 5-year-old boy who was a passenger were not injured. 

Fatal Car Accident Update

The accident happened last night on highway 23 and seven hills road near Mount Calvary. 
According to the Fond du Lac Sheriff's Department, a car, SUV, and a semi truck were involved in a deadly accident at the intersection of Highway 23 and Seven Hills Road in Mount Calvary. A sedan was westbound on Highway 23 when it drifted across the centerline, clipping the bumper of an eastbound SUV. The sedan then spun out into the eastbound lane, where it was struck head-on by a passing semi. The 4-year-old boy, a passenger in the sedan, was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 37-year-old man was seriously injured and transported by helicopter to a hospital, where he later died. The semi and SUV drivers were not injured. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
