Hydroplaning car spins into oncoming traffic; 2 killed

 Both the Tomah man and his wife, also 85, were pulled from their vehicle and taken to a hospital in Prairie du Chien, where the man was pronounced dead.

Bridget A. Achenbach, 19, of Eastman, Wisconsin, was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash just after 2 p.m. Sunday. Kenneth H. Eppers, 85, of Tomah, Wisconsin, was taken to Crossing Rivers Health Care where he later died of his injuries.
One woman, 19, injured critically and one man, 85, was killed in a two-vehincle crash in  Crawford County.  Two people have died and another was critically injured in a two-car crash on a wet highway in Crawford County of southwestern Wisconsin. The young Eastman woman was driving  southbound when her car hydroplaned and spun into the oncoming lane, where it was hit by a car driven by an 85-year-old man from Tomah. The woman was transported to a La Crosse hospital in critical condition. The Eastman woman died at the scene. Both the Tomah man and his wife, also 85, were pulled from their vehicle and taken to a hospital in Prairie du Chien, where the man was pronounced dead.
