A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a rear-end crash on Highway 23 in Iowa County Wednesday afternoon, sheriff’s deputies said.
Julica Rose Kelly was driving a car north on Highway 23 when she slowed down to make a turn. Blaine K. Hall was riding a motorcycle behind her and rear-ended the car when she slowed down. He was thrown from the bike during the crash and was taken to UW Hospital by medical helicopter. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Kelly was treated and released at Upland Hills Health.
