Dangerous conditions are wreaking havoc on southeast Wisconsin's snow-covered highways, with at least one person dead and several interstates facing lane closures. "Road conditions are extremely slippery and dangerous," the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office advised Sunday. ■ A fatal rollover crash occurred Sunday morning on I-94 eastbound at Highway 100. Drivers heading east from Waukesha County are advised to exit before the Milwaukee County line. ■ Menomonee Falls Police Department reported several crashes on US Highway 41/45 southbound from Pilgrim Road to Highway 145 around noon Sunday. Southbound lanes were closed at Pilgrim Road at 12:30 p.m., a police dispatcher said. ■ A crash at about 11 a.m. on I-894 in West Allis is blocking all eastbound/southbound lanes at Greenfield Ave., and it is expected to take more than two hours to clear, the state Department of Transportation said. ■ At 11:30 a.m., a separate crash closed eastbound I-894 at Loomis Road in Greenfield, the DOT said. ■ At least 20 vehicles were seen in a ditch on I-43 at Mequon Road, and the crashes have closed the southbound lanes of the interstate. ■ Another crash on I-43 has closed the northbound lanes at the Waukesha/Milwaukee county line.
