24-year-old woman dies in single-vehicle crash, deputies say

Investigators said Danielle Lee Heath, 24, was driving eastbound on Cranberry Road at a high rate of speed and lost control after cresting a hill.
A 24-year-old Burlington woman who was killed when her vehicle crashed into a tree was identified Sunday by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office. Danielle Lee Heath was the driver and sole occupant in the vehicle that crashed about 5:30 a.m. Friday on Cranberry Road near Berndt Road in the Town of Lyons, according to a news release. Investigators determined that Heath was eastbound on Cranberry Road and driving at a high speed when she lost control after cresting a hill and hit the tree. The Walworth County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Lyons Fire and Rescue and Wisconsin State Patrol.
