Six Hartford Union High School students were injured Monday when a school bus left a snow-covered road and crashed into a tree, according to City of Hartford Fire and Rescue.
Six Hartford Union High School students were injured Monday when a school bus left a snow-covered road and crashed into a tree, according to City of Hartford Fire and Rescue. The students were being driven home when the crash was reported about 4 p.m. on Valley Road in Dodge County, according to a news release. According to the release, roads were snow-covered and slippery, and the bus driver reported near whiteout conditions at the time of the crash. The injured students, among 10 students on board the bus, were taken to a hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. The parents of the other four students signed releases at the scene refusing medical treatment, officials said.
