A snowmobiler crashed into a tree on a trail in Kansasville Thursday night, leaving the driver unconscious with serious head injuries, according to a release from the Racine County Sheriff's Office.
A snowmobiler crashed into a tree on a trail in Kansasville Thursday night, leaving the driver unconscious with serious head injuries, according to a release from the Racine County Sheriff's Office.
The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 75. The driver, who was wearing a helmet, missed a curve, went off trail and was ejected toward the tree. He had to be flown to Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life.
Speed and alcohol were believed to be factors.
