A Kenosha congregation is mourning its pastor after she died late last week following a car accident at a McDonald's restaurant.

A Kenosha congregation is mourning its pastor after she died late last week following a car accident at a McDonald's restaurant. A community memorial service is planned for 6 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Lutheran Church, 2001 80th St., Kenosha. The Rev. Georgette Wonders was going through the drive-thru at a McDonald's after 11 p.m. Tuesday, The restaurant is a few miles from Bradford Community Church Unitarian Universalist, where she preached. She opened the door to retrieve a dropped debit card but took her foot off the brake, and the car rolled against the restaurant, pinning her between the door and the car, Kenosha police said.
