Investigators believe speed may be a contributing factor in the crash, but the investigation continues. Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of family members.

Victims identified in one-car crash in Lyons

Diedra Dawley, 34, of Genoa City, was hospitalized with serious injuries and Sarah Enders, 22, from the village of Bloomfield, was killed in the crash that happened on Townline Road, just east of U.S. Highway 12 in the town of Lyons about 6:03 p.m. Saturday, according to a release from the sheriff's office.
One person was killed and another severely injured after a single-vehicle collision Saturday night in Walworth County, which occurred after 6 p.m on Townline road in Lyons. The crash occurred when the driver of a Honda Accord lost control and crashed into a tree. The driver, a 34-year-old woman identified as Deidra Dawley from the Genoa City area, suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. The passenger, a Sarah Enders, 22, from the town of Bloomfield, was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
