A Milwaukee man was arrested Tuesday night after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 43.
A Milwaukee man was arrested Tuesday night after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 43.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said Mark Strong, 45, sideswiped a vehicle in his pickup truck around 9:10 p.m. A witness followed Strong's truck until deputies pulled him over on South 8th Street.
Deputies said Strong had an open can of beer in the cup holder of the car and had a blood-alcohol level of 0.12 percent.
Strong was taken into custody on his fifth offense of operating while intoxicated. His prior convictions were in 2001, 2002 and 2011. He also faces charges of driving after license revocation as well as hit-and-run.
If convicted of the latest charges, Strong could face eight years in prison.
