56-year-old man killed, after his minivan rolls over him on N. 118th Street in Milwaukee.

A 56-year-old Milwaukee man was killed Sunday when he tried to stop his minivan from rolling backward.

The man was having trouble with his 1993 Plymouth Voyager minivan and stopped the vehicle in the 6100 block of N. 118th St. about 8:15 p.m. Sunday, according to Milwaukee police.

The van was on a slight incline and began to roll backward. The man ran to the rear of the van to try to stop it and was hit by it, police said. The man died from his injuries at the scene of the accident.
