Boy flighted to hospital after being struck by car
Racine police said the boy was transported by Flight For Life from Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints hospital, 3801 Spring St., to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. His condition was not known late Thursday, but a witness said it appeared the boy was bleeding from the head and was having trouble breathing.
Child critically hurt after getting struck by an SUV in Racine
Racine Police say the 8-year old boy was taken to St. Mary's Emergency Room, then flown via Flight For Life to Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa.
The boy was crossing Washington Avenue on foot when an SUV hit him and threw him into the westbound lane. His condition is not currently known, but witnesses say he was bleeding from the head and having issues breathing.
