3 killed in crash involving wrong-way driver on western Wis. freeway

Several motorists had called police to report a black car that had crossed the median and was headed west in the eastbound lanes at a high speed moments before the fiery crash at 5:44 p.m. near milepost 34, the patrol said.

Serghei Kundilovski, 36, of Orangevale, Calif., is charged with three counts of first-degree reckless homicide, three counts of knowingly operating a motor vehicle while revoked and three counts of homicide by using a motor vehicle while intoxicated. 

Man who killed 3 in Dunn County crash gets 75 years

On Monday, Dunn County Judge James Peterson sentenced Kundilovski for 25 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision for each count of homicide to be served consecutively. 

In addition, he will have to pay $39,000 in restitution for the funeral expenses to the victims’ families.
