A Wisconsin man was killed early Thursday when he was struck by a car while walking near New Richmond.
Jeffrey S. Boardman Jr., 28, from New Richmond, Wisconsin, died when he was hit while walking at about 2:30 a.m. Alyssa Kochsiek, 22, from Hammond, Wisconsin, was arrested on suspicion of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. Kochsiek was traveling east on St. Croix County Road C when her Jeep struck Boardman.
