A crash Tuesday evening, six miles west of Bloomington, claimed the life of a Bloomington man.
Eric Lach, 35, was pronounced dead at IU Health Bloomington Hospital following the crash.
Investigators say Lach was northbound on State Road 45 near Breeden Road and drove left of the center line, striking a southbound SUV and continuing northbound in the southbound lanes.
Lach's vehicle then spun into the path of an oncoming truck.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the crash.
All lanes of eastbound I-894 at S. 92nd St. have reopened after being closed for a little more than an hour due to a vehicle fire Wednesday morning.

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Wethersfield on Tuesday evening.
It happened around 5:45 p.m. on Jordan Lane in the area of Buckland Street, according to police.
The pedestrian has not been identified. It's not clear how badly injured the victim may be, but police said they're treating it as a serious accident.
