49-year-old Kyle Marc Aaron Matteson of Jensen Beach died Saturday after crashing the 1999 Yamaha ATV he was driving. Matteson was traveling northbound along the west side of the Florida East Coast Railroad's right of way in Jensen Beach. According to FHP, he steered the ATV sharply to the left and in doing so the vehicle overturned. Matteson was trapped underneath the vehicle. The time of the crash is unknown.

A southeastern Indiana man has died after his all-terrain vehicle overturned on his property. Conservation officers say family members found 66-year-old Philip Glasgo of Guilford on Monday afternoon after he had not returned home after an extended period from checking fencing on his property about 20 miles west of Cincinnati, Ohio. They found him unconscious under the vehicle. Officers say the accident is under investigation

Phoenix police are looking for an ATV rider who fled the scene of a fatal dirt bike accident in Phoenix on Tuesday. The vehicles collided in the desert near the 25,000 block of North 57th Street around 5 p.m. The rider of the dirt bike, Frisco Davidson-Spurs Yankolovich, 20, was rushed to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, said a Phoenix Police Sgt. The rider of the quad stopped and looked at the victim, then left the scene, police said. Police said there are no signs of the ATV rider.

A 58-year-old Harrisburg man was killed Tuesday afternoon when an ATV he was riding on flipped in Washington County. The Washington County Coroner said Robert Joseph Weimer was riding the quad in a wooded area off Old Hickory Road in Chartiers Township when the accident happened at 12:45 p.m. After going up a hill, the quad flipped and pinned Weimer underneath, Warco said.

A Jefferson County sheriff's deputy is fighting for his life after a Tuesday-night ATV crash. Deputy Brad Perry was listed in critical condition at UAB Hospital Wednesday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesman. Perry is a youth services investigator in the Bessemer Cutoff. He and a female deputy were off duty and riding an ATV on a mine road off Mud Creek Road when the ATV hit a hole or ditch and flipped, a Jefferson County sheriff's said. Perry suffered a head injury, and has not regained consciousness since the accident. The female deputy was not hurt.

The Chelan County sheriff says a 17-year-old Leavenworth teen died in a weekend accident while riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). Mark D. Clark was riding the ATV on Sunitsch Canyon Road in Leavenworth when he lost control and was thrown against a tree, with the ATV rolling into him, causing fatal neck and head injuries. The young man was not wearing a helmet.

A Lacey police officer has died of injuries sustained in an all-terrain vehicle crash this month. Officer Steve Brooks died Thursday at Providence St. Peter Hospital.

A Deming man was killed in an ATV crash on a gravel road in woods north of the Mount Baker Highway. The Bellingham Herald reports it's not clear when the crash occurred but the body of 45-year-old Scott Allen Monaghan was found Monday morning. The Washington State Patrol says it appears he drove around a corner too fast. The ATV hit a tree stump and crashed down a 20-foot embankment.
