The Mendocino County Coroner's Office on Wednesday identified the woman killed Sunday in a fatal crash near Cleone as Kymberly Greenlees, 49, of Fort Bragg.

She was driving a 2001 Volvo on Highway 1 north of Cleone at 40 to 45 mph when her car veered across the double yellow lines into the path of an oncoming southbound car, according to a press release issued by the Ukiah CHP. The head-on crash with a 2000 Ford occurred about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officer Kylar Adams said it's not clear why Greenlees' vehicle veered out of her lane. The CHP has found no witnesses so far.

Pennsylvania State Police in York County are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash. The accident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Carlisle and Fickes roads in Warrington Township. Investigators say the driver, 46-year-old Todd Ziegler of Dillsburg died at the scene. The coroner says Ziegler was not wearing a helmet.

A Michigan man died in a Friday afternoon collision with a semitrailer cab that ran a stoplight, police said. The collision, which involved three vehicles, was at the intersection of Baseline and Arsenal roads, Elwood Police Chief Fred Hayes said. Donald W. Lundberg, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at 12:03 p.m. “Speed definitely appears to be a factor,” Hayes said.

A fifth person has died of injuries suffered in a head-on collision Friday in Acadia Parish, State Police said Saturday. Joshua Lejeune, 24, Port Barre, died at a local hospital, Trooper 1st Class Stephen Hammons said. Also Saturday, State Police identified two other people who died in the wreck as a mother and son. They are Laura Bartram, 44, and her 23-year-old son, Justin, both of Opelousas, Hammons said in a news release.

Two people were killed Friday in a head-on crash involving a wrong-way driver on state Route 67 in Lakeside, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. near Winter Gardens Boulevard, according to the CHP. A 29-year-old Jamul woman driving a silver Ford F150 pickup truck entered the northbound lanes of the highway, heading southbound at approximately 60 mph, the CHP reported. The Ford collided head-on with a southbound 2014 Chevrolet 3500 utility vehicle driven by a 49-year-old man from Alpine, according to the CHP.

One man is dead after police say he crashed his bicycle into a "large box truck" Friday night. The crash happened at 10:20 p.m. on W. Broad Street near North Glenwood Avenue in Franklinton. Columbus Police say 53-year-old Glenn Barna entered the crosswalk on his bicycle while the truck was already turning onto Glenwood. The bike hit the passenger side of the truck, causing Barna to fall to the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 65-year-old man has been charged after in connection with the fatal hit-and-run of a bicyclist.

Gabriel Herrera was charged with one felony count of leave the scene of accident resulting in injury or death, a misdemeanor count of failure to give information or aid in injury and a traffic citation for failure to reduce speed, police said.

A 59-year-old victim was riding her bike in the 2900 block of South Poplar Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday when a vehicle struck her, police said. The driver did not stop and kept going east.

Arlington police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident involving a 7-month-old boy in a stroller at the intersection of South Cooper Street and California Lane in South Central Arlington Thursday.

According to police reports, at approximately 9:30 a.m., a driver in a truck attempted to make a turn from northbound South Cooper onto California Lane and struck an oncoming white sedan.

Two days after state police say Tyler Dufrene, 17, was critically injured in a crash in Lafourche Parish just north of the Valentine Bridge on LA 1, the teen remains on life support.

State police say Duffer was driving south when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction crossed the center-line, striking Dufrene's jeep head-on.

Christian Thomas McQueen, 43, turned himself into police on Thursday, May 29, 2014, after police released photos of him and his truck accused in a deadly hit-and-run.

A man accused of intentionally ramming his pickup truck into an SUV and killing its driver before fleeing the scene turned himself in to police on Thursday, officials said.

Christian Thomas McQueen, 43, came to the Orange Police Department with his attorney and surrendered one day after police released photos of him and his GMC Sierra pickup truck, Orange police said.
