Elizabeth Slabaugh, 84, and her 14-year-old granddaughter were travelling northbound on M-51 at Pennsylvania Road when a car driven by Sally Lundy, 64, and her 3-year-old grandaughter pulled out in front of her, resulting in a head-on collision. Slabaugh had to be extrivated from her vehicle. She was sent to South Bend Memorial Hospital. All other parties were treated and released at the site of the accident. Friday night at about 8:20pm, a 39-year-old man called police to report that after a rollover crash near the summit of Indian Canyon, his step-son was pinned under the vehicle. The teen remained pinned until rescuers freed him and he was airlifted to Primary Children's Hospital in stable condition. Neither of the two passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

There will likely not be charges against the bus driver. The boy has since been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

The boy was not wearing a helmet and was riding in a place he was told not to go and lost control. Fortunately, the boy's 14-year-old cousin was able to lift the quad off of him and call for help. The boy is in the Phoenix Children's Hospital and is expected to recover.

A 6-year-old West Finley boy was killed Wednesday night when he was ejected from a Jeep on Interstate 70 in Buffalo Township, police said. Dominic Rush was a passenger in a Jeep that lost control just east of the Taylorstown exit in Washington County at approximately 7:30 p.m., police said. The driver lost control, left the passing lane and traveled 342 feet in the median before the car rolled over on its roof. Dominic was ejected and pinned under the Jeep. Witnesses lifted the Jeep and removed the boy, police said. The driver was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital by a helicopter.

Four people were injured, one seriously, Saturday morning in a head-on collision on state Highway 12 caused by an allegedly drunk driver, Santa Rosa police said Saturday. The collision occurred just after 10:30 a.m. on Highway 12 at Melita Road, when an eastbound Ford Mustang crossed the center divider and struck a westbound Nissan Sentra head-on, according to police. The Sentra overturned and landed in the westbound lane with people trapped inside.

At least 12 people were hurt Thursday when a school bus with children on board crashed and became lodged between two trees at an Anaheim golf course, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Orange Unified School District bus crashed near the Anaheim Hills Golf Course just before 3:40 p.m., officials said. Aerial video showed the bus appearing to be bent down the middle where it was leaning against a tree. The bus driver had to be pulled from the wreckage. Three people, including the bus driver, were in critical condition.

Shreveport police are investigating a crash that sent two pedestrians to the hospital Wednesday afternoon. Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Shreveport police were called to the 1600 block of Kings Highway after a reported vehicle crash involving two pedestrians. Janette Johnson, 55, had been struck and pinned beneath a vehicle traveling eastbound along the 1600 block of Kings Highway. Johnson, who was not responsive following the crash, was rushed to University Health Medical Center where she remains in critical condition.

Eleven people were injured after a five-vehicle collision on North Lamar Boulevard at 39 1/2 Street around 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Several EMS crews responded to the rollover accident. The first reports indicated at least one patient was trapped inside a vehicle. Additional paramedics responded to 39th Street and Medical Parkway for a report of another patient involved in the accident.

The Utah Highway Patrol says a roll over crash happened on Interstate-15 near Parowan Friday afternoon. A southbound vehicle blew a rear tire and it rolled off the highway. The vehicle came to rest on it's side. The 36-year-old male driver was uninjured in the crash, but his wife was pinned in the Ford Expedition and she had to be freed by the fire department. The woman sustained some moderate injuries in the crash, according to a UHP press release. Three children were also in the car and they were treated and released from a local hospital in Cedar City.
