The 15-year-old victim of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Saturday night has been identified as Chiar Raymond of Boynton Beach. Raymond was walking home after attending an event at Boynton Beach High School when he was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene. Boynton police are attempting to find for the vehicle, described as a red or maroon Mercedes, possibly a four-door sedan, with damage to the passenger's side mirror and front bumper. Police said a car heading northbound at 2000 block of High Ridge Road hit the teen, who was walking north alongside the roadway, about 11:15 p.m.

Khiar Raymond was walking home after an event at his high school with his older brother and a friend. They were walking on High Ridge Road when a car struck Raymond. The driver fled the crash scene. Raymond was rushed to a local medical center where he later died. The suspect is a white female driving a red four-door sedan with damahe to the passenger side.

A Road Ranger who had stopped to assist a motorist on Interstate 95 was hit and killed early Sunday by a car which then fled the scene. The Road Ranger was standing on the east shoulder of the northbound lanes of I-95 south of Palmetto Park Road, speaking with the driver of a white Dodge Charger, when he was hit at 1 a.m. The Road Ranger was identified as Arnold Metellus, 59, of Boynton Beach. The suspect vehicle fled without stopping. It is described as a silver or gray SUV-type vehicle that exited at Palmetto Park Road. The vehicle is believed to have front and right side damage.

The couple were heading northbound on their motorcycle just south of St. Lucie Boulevard around 9 p.m. on Sept. 27. The motorcycle rear-ended a van and the two were ejected from their bike, after which another vehicle ran over Lisa Maynard and left the scene. Lisa was pronounced dead at the scene, while Tom was pronounced dead after being brought to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.

Eliu Bravo, 38, of Port St. Lucie, the passenger of Mariela Arriaza's vehicle, was declared dead at the scene of the crash, and police are asking for anyone with information about the crash to contact the Florida Highway Patrol at 561-357-4108.

Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle who investigators with the Delray Beach Police Department said hit a 20-year-old woman while she was rollerblading along Atlantic Avenue. Detectives said the collision between car and person happened on Tuesday morning around 1:00 a.m. on the west side of the Intracoastal bridge. Witnesses said while taking a breather on the Atlantic Avenue intra-coastal bridge with friends, Bucala was hit from behind by a car. The driver then sped off in the direction of downtown.

The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a car involved in a fatal crash Saturday morning north of the city limits. A pedestrian was killed around 9 a.m. in the crash at U.S. Route 441 and County Road 68, near Okeechobee Golf & Country Club, said a FHP spokesman. The car is a compact vehicle that was thought to be traveling southbound on U.S. 441. It has damage to its right front side and to its right front amber light. Its right side mirror also is missing, Fletcher said. FHP did not have information on the make, model or color of the vehicle.

A 68-year-old Stuart woman was in serious condition late Monday after she was injured in a hit-and-run crash that morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Janet T. Anastasia, was struck while walking in the area of Southeast Washington Street and Southeast Dryfus Avenue, FHP said. The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m. along the south shoulder of the roadway. Anastasia was rushed to Lawnwood Medical Center in Fort Pierce with serious injuries. According to FHP, Anastasia was struck by white Jeep SUV. A woman in the Jeep then drove away.

A 27-year-old Stuart man died early Saturday in a wreck on Southwest Martin Downs Boulevard in Palm City, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Philip Wade Harvey Jr. was driving his 2011 Hyundai Accent eastbound near Southwest Mapp Road when a 2009 Acura MDX struck him from behind, FHP said. The Acura continued its forward motion and pushed Harvey’s Hyundai through the intersection and further down the roadway.

A man in his 50s is in critical condition after he was struck by an SUV while riding his bicycle in Fort Pierce Thursday morning. The SUV involved in the crash did not stop. According to St. Lucie Fire Rescue, the man was riding his bike on 25th Street near Orange Avenue around 10:10 a.m. when he was hit. Fort Pierce Police officers are investigating the crash. There is no information on the driver of the vehicle or description of the SUV at this time.
