Two people had to be rescued from an overturned car after it was involved in a three-vehicle wreck on Thursday evening in Oshtemo Township. It happened around 5:40 p.m. in the 8600 block of Stadium Drive, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s officials said a 56-year-old man from Mattawan was driving west on Stadium Drive when he was rear-ended by a vehicle as he tried to turn into a private driveway. The impact caused the man’s car to cross over the center line and hit an oncoming van driven by a 25-year-old man from Kalamazoo, according to the sheriff’s office.

A minivan has crashed into a McDonald’s along 2300 block of Florin Road. Both the driver and a McDonald’s employee have been taken to the hospital, authorities stated. The crash looks to have happened a little before 8:15 a.m. About six to eight employees were inside at the time. A 40-year-old Spokane woman has been killed in a rollover crash on Highway 211 about 12 miles north of Newport. Barbara Pierre died in the crash that sent the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am she was driving into a creek north of Davis Lake around 3 a.m. Friday, according to the Washington State Patrol. The vehicle had been headed south when the driver lost control. It rolled off the east side of the road into the creek. A passenger, 37-year-old Edward Scott of Battle Ground, was sent to Newport Hospital with injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, the WSP said.

A head-on crash took the lives of a man and woman early Friday morning just south of Salisbury. Keith Tillman, 34, and Jenny Williams, 31, both of Rowan County, died in the crash, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The wreck happened in the 4900 block of South Main Street near Grace Church Road around 1 a.m. The road was blocked for a few hours while emergency crews worked to clear the accident. The Highway Patrol says Tillman was driving south and crossed the center line, hitting Williams' car. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

A Pensacola teenager died Monday after suffering severe injuries in a car crash last week, a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Monteeaasia Hills, 17, was one of several people injured in a two-car collision at the intersection of N. W and W. Lloyd streets March 27, an FHP news release said.

While attempting to make a left turn, 25-year-old Shaundora Walker collided with an oncoming vehicle containing Hills and four other passengers, the release said.

A 17-year-old boy died Saturday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale after a car crash two days earlier in central Minnesota.

Charles Mellema, 17, of Randall, Minn., was less than a half mile away from his house when police say he collided with another car just before 11 p.m. Thursday, sending his car into a ditch and toppling a power line pole.

IMPD officers say the man who ran from the scene of a deadly crash Thursday evening was brought to Eskenazi Hospital by family members.

The crash happened at the intersection of 34th and Georgetown, on the northwest side of Indianapolis, just before 6 p.m.

Police say a white truck, driven by 33-year-old William Edwards, was heading northbound on Georgetown Road when it hit the victim’s vehicle heading west on 34th street. The collision caused the victim’s car to hit two other cars, whose occupants weren’t hurt.

Police say Edwards immediately ran from the scene.

A Lafayette man died after his car struck a tree Thursday evening, Alabama State Troopers announced Friday morning.

At 7:05p, Edwin Benton Yancey, 51, was killed when his 1992 Chevy 1500 pickup truck left Alabama 50 and hit a tree. The crash happened about five miles west of Lafayette.

Yancey was not wearing a seat belt, according to a Alabama State Trooper.

The crash remains under investigation.

A Charlotte, N.C. man is dead after a skiing accident at Colorado’s Keystone Ski Resort.

Sixty-year-old Lee Hurley died Thursday after hitting a tree on an intermediate run.

The Summit County coroner said Hurley was in Colorado on a ski vacation with his family.
