Two people had to be rescued from an overturned car after it was involved in a three-vehicle wreck on Thursday evening in Oshtemo Township. It happened around 5:40 p.m. in the 8600 block of Stadium Drive, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s officials said a 56-year-old man from Mattawan was driving west on Stadium Drive when he was rear-ended by a vehicle as he tried to turn into a private driveway. The impact caused the man’s car to cross over the center line and hit an oncoming van driven by a 25-year-old man from Kalamazoo, according to the sheriff’s office.
A 40-year-old Spokane woman has been killed in a rollover crash on Highway 211 about 12 miles north of Newport. Barbara Pierre died in the crash that sent the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am she was driving into a creek north of Davis Lake around 3 a.m. Friday, according to the Washington State Patrol. The vehicle had been headed south when the driver lost control. It rolled off the east side of the road into the creek. A passenger, 37-year-old Edward Scott of Battle Ground, was sent to Newport Hospital with injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, the WSP said.
A Pensacola teenager died Monday after suffering severe injuries in a car crash last week, a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Monteeaasia Hills, 17, was one of several people injured in a two-car collision at the intersection of N. W and W. Lloyd streets March 27, an FHP news release said.

The crash happened at the intersection of 34th and Georgetown, on the northwest side of Indianapolis, just before 6 p.m.
Police say a white truck, driven by 33-year-old William Edwards, was heading northbound on Georgetown Road when it hit the victim’s vehicle heading west on 34th street. The collision caused the victim’s car to hit two other cars, whose occupants weren’t hurt.
Police say Edwards immediately ran from the scene.
A Lafayette man died after his car struck a tree Thursday evening, Alabama State Troopers announced Friday morning.
At 7:05p, Edwin Benton Yancey, 51, was killed when his 1992 Chevy 1500 pickup truck left Alabama 50 and hit a tree. The crash happened about five miles west of Lafayette.
Yancey was not wearing a seat belt, according to a Alabama State Trooper.
The crash remains under investigation.
A Charlotte, N.C. man is dead after a skiing accident at Colorado’s Keystone Ski Resort.
Sixty-year-old Lee Hurley died Thursday after hitting a tree on an intermediate run.
The Summit County coroner said Hurley was in Colorado on a ski vacation with his family.
