A veteran skydiver who collided in midair with another jumper Sunday and fell to his death has been identified as Jordan Jor-El Janway, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Janway, 27, of San Diego went skydiving Sunday with two other people at a center east of Chula Vista. The Medical Examiner’s Office said the collision happened for unknown reasons during free fall.

He then failed to deploy his parachute.

The center’s owner, Buzz Fink, said Janway was likely knocked unconscious when he struck the other skydiver.

A Rome pastor was killed in a fatal crash on Sunday evening.

Georgia State Patrol charged 47-year-old Michele Blum with first degree homicide in connection with a fatal crash that occurred near the Floyd county line Sunday night.

Blum was allegedly driving her 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck on the wrong side of the road with her lights off. Blum then struck and killed 55-year-old Nim Bernal Russell who was driving a 2007 Mercedes E350 in the opposite lane.

The 11-year-old Brooklyn boy who was hurt in a DWI accident has died, a prosecutor said Monday.

Little Dylan Perry succumbed to injuries suffered when his stepfather Anthony Pollydore, 65, crashed into a light post Sunday morning, authorities said.

Pollydore, dressed in a dapper all-white three-piece suit and matching loafers, said nothing when the death of his stepson was announced during his Brooklyn Criminal Court arraignment.

Police have identified the man arrested in a crash that injured two people on I-91 as Julio Perez, 27, of Springfield.

Perez is being charged with operating under the influence of liquor, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating with a suspended license.

The initial crash happened just after 1 a.m. in I-91's northbound lane between exits 3 and 4 , according to a Massachusetts State Police official.

22-year-old Tye Joshua Ballinger of Clearwater died in a high-speed single vehicle motorcycle crash Sunday.

The accident occurred about 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of State Road 580 between Landmark Drive and Countryside High School.

Ballinger was riding a 2012 Suzuki GSX R750 motorcycle west on State Road 580 when he failed to navigate the curve east of Landmark Drive, officials said. The bike crossed the median and the eastbound lanes before hitting a curb and a concrete block wall.

Police say a 19-year-old New Hampshire woman has died in a single-vehicle crash in Vermont. Scotlynn Silfies of Claremont was a passenger in a vehicle that left Route 131 in Weathersfield and overturned on Sunday night. The driver, 20-year-old Seth Smith, was treated for his injuries at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. Silfies was a 2013 graduate of Fall Mountain Regional High School and studied nursing at River Valley Community College. Authorities are investigating the crash.

A Mississippi man died Sunday night after his car ran off the side of Interstate 55, struck an embankment and overturned several times before stopping in a water-filled creek, a State Police spokesman said. A Louisiana Master Trooper said Bobby E. Ross, 59, of McComb, Miss., was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tangipahoa Parish Coroner’s Office.

A La Mesa man killed Sunday evening when the off-road vehicle he was driving rolled over and crashed has been identified as Erik Scott Decker, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. Decker, 33, was traveling alone in a residential area of unincorporated El Cajon when he drove a Polaris RZR all-terrain vehicle from a dirt road to the asphalt on Snow View Drive near Highway 80, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday. The Polaris overturned, partially throwing Decker from the driver’s seat and pinning him underneath the vehicle.

A 20-year-old pregnant woman from Pennsylvania was hospitalized following a three-car crash Sunday afternoon. Jenna Robbins, of Ellsworth, 26 weeks pregnant, was in stable condition following the chain reaction crash on Milan Road near the Sonic Drive-In, Perkins Township, police said. She was treated at the hospital as a precautionary measure, police said, not for any serious injuries.

A Madison boy was taken to a hospital Sunday night after being struck by a car while he was riding his bike. Madison police said the boy is believed to be 7-years-old and was struck when he pedaled out of a driveway and into the 1500 block of Trailsway. The boy’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. The car that struck the boy is described as a white Nissan.
