A ninth grade boy, Clay McCarty, 15, and junior Ivy Redmill, 17, were traveling to school in a white Honda Accord on Curry Highway, just a half mile from the school, when they collided head-on with the 18-wheeler. Reports say that the car, which McCarty was driving, crossed the center line before colliding with the tractor trailer. The Curry High School students were not wearing seat belts and were killed on impact, shortly before 8 a.m.

Markarita Immy, 44, was pronounced deceased at the site of a collision that occurred about 8:35 p.m. on State Highway 266. Immy was driving with two passengers in an SUV. One passenger was transported to a Tulsa hospital and the other was uninjured. The crash occurred when Immy’s SUV collided with a pickup driven by Toby Willis, 38, of Claremore. Willis and passenger Robyn Willis, 37, also of Claremore, were uninjured. One occupant in the pickup suffered an arm injury. Robert Heidlage, 54, of Tulsa, the driver of another SUV hit by Immy’s vehicle, was treated at a Tulsa hospital and released.

It was approximately 3:50 p.m. when 30-year-old Floridalma Ramos Morales was driving a car north on U.S. 31, and collided head-on with a pickup truck. Morales' son, identified as Darwin Sarceno, 4, was not properly buckled in and was thrown from the vehicle. Both him and his mother have been pronounced dead. A 1-year-old, 5-year-old, 12-year-old, and woman that were in the pickup truck were transported to various hospitals with potentially critical injuries. Taylor Loffler was driving his truck on County Road 86 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a trailer, then collided with a van head-on. Loffler died of his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The driver of the trailer, Joseph Bastyr, 32, was not hurt. The van's driver, Brien Stitt, 28, was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.

Louis Jarman, 69, was driving on Alabama 40 when he crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle. The crash left Jarman, who was not wearing a seat belt, dead at the scene, while the other driver was injured and hospitalized.

A Texas man was killed and three other people were injured Monday when a tractor-trailer crashed head-on with pickup truck in Woods County, Oklahoma, at about 9:40 a.m. Gregorio Galindo-Casanova, 35, of Houston, Texas, was a passenger in a pickup on U.S. 64 when a westbound tractor-trailer driven by Brandon Wesley Rinehart, 21, of Alva, was passing another westbound semi in a no-passing zone.

At about 10:00am, Tucker was driving on U.S. 431 when she collided with another vehicle head-on, before being struck by a third vehicle. Tucker was killed in the crash, and the driver of the car that she first hit was injured and taken to the hospital. No other details are available, check back for updates on the cause of the crash.

Peggy Phillips, 63, was driving at approximately 7:30 a.m. when her vehicle apparently crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and crashed nearly head-on with an SUV. Phillips and her passenger, Julie Smith, 45, were both taken to Magnolia Regional Medical Center. Phillips died at the hospital; Smith is listed in stable condition. Authorities say neither woman was wearing a seat belt. Arlene Settles, 41, was driving the SUV and was not injured.

At around 8:36 p.m. Monday just outside East Helena, a semi-truck was eastbound on Highway 12 when it collided head-on with the pick up truck that was traveling west. The collision occurred in the westbound lane of the highway. The pickup driver, a 45-year-old Gregory McFerrin, was not wearing a seat belt and was killed. The 33-year-old driver of the semi-trailer, Asad Khan, was brought to St. Peter's Hospital with unknown injuries. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

David G. Holt was driving on Old Hundred Road when he crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic and struck another car head-on. He was not wearing a seat belt and died atthe scene. The two people in the other car were transported to Chippenham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
