A motorcyclist is in serious condition following an early Saturday morning crash. Police say motorcyclist William R. Hayne, 34, struck the back of car. The motorcycle then hit a guardrail and the car struck a concrete median wall. Hayne was ejected from his motorcycle and was taken to a hospital.

A 75-year-old Richmond Heights man was killed after traveling the wrong way on Interstate 44 in Stanton, Missouri early Wednesday morning. Authorities said Roy Blair was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 44 when a car swerved to avoid him, sideswiping into a tractor trailer. Police said Blair continued driving, striking two other vehicles.

Police say one person is dead after a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on Highway N just west of the intersection with Sommers Road around 4:00 p.m.

Authorities said Stanley A Bazan, 29, was traveling westbound on Route N when the driver of a Ford F150 that was traveling eastbound swerved into the westbound lane in an effort to avoid stopped traffic. According to police, the driver then hit Bazan's car head on.

Bazan was taken to hospital but later died.

A teen driver was killed after hitting multiple vehicles in Owensville early Wednesday morning.

The victim has been identified as Nicholas D. Holzschuh, 18, of Owensville.

The incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. on Fourth Street north of Franklin Street.

Police say Holzschuh's car was traveling northbound at a high speed when he crossed the center line and struck two parked vehicles.

The vehicle then crossed the center line again and struck another parked car. Holzschuh was then ejected from the vehicle.

The Missouri Highway Patrol has identified the man killed early Tuesday morning in a traffic accident in Kearney, Mo.

James Davis, 61, died in the one-vehicle accident on I-35 near 92 Hwy in Kearney, Mo. A passenger, John Clark, 64, sustained moderate injuries.

According to authorities, Davis was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche when — for an unknown reason – the roadway, struck a guard rail and subsequently overturned. The accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-35.

Police have identified the man killed in a crash Wednesday after a high-speed chase as 35-year-old Justin Burkholder.

According to the Platte County Sheriff’s office, shortly before 2 p.m. Burkholder, of Kansas City, Mo., stole a red pickup truck from a Platte County residence. He led authorities on a high-speed chase, which lasted for approximately 45 minutes.

A Missouri woman died in a car crash on Friday, on the way to her own bachelorette party.

Best friends Collette Moreno and Ashley Theobald were driving to Moreno’s bachelorette party on Friday when one bad move caused them to collide with an oncoming car on the crest of a hill, killing the bride-to-be.

Friends and family are still trying to come to terms with the tragic, unexpected loss.

“It felt like a messed-up dream and I needed to wake up from it,” the victim’s mom, Kelly Arie, told Fox4KC. “And I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t.”

Police say they have a 30-year-old man in custody in a fatal crash Sunday night in East St. Louis. Helen Bush, 86, of East St. Louis, was killed in the crash about 7 p.m. at 17th Street and Bond Avenue, police say. Another woman, Teenette Dae, 72, of East St. Louis, was critically injured and was being treated at St. Louis University Hospital. Bush and Dae were in a 2013 Nissan at the intersection when a man driving a black Monte Carlo east on Bond struck their vehicle, said East St. Louis Assistant Chief R.O. Ike. Ike said the man was driving recklessly.

One person is dead after two vehicles collided on Highway 47, west of Linns Mill Road early Sunday morning. Police say the driver of one of the vehicles has been identified as 17-year-old Gary French who was driving eastbound on Highway 47 when he collided with a school bus driving west. French was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the school bus, 27-year-old John Detjen, suffered minor injuries.

Both directions of Hall St. in north St. Louis were closed early Friday morning after a car crashed into a light pole killing one person and injuring another.

According to police, a car crashed into a light pole at Hall and Adelaide around 1:40 a.m.

Police said there were two people trapped in the vehicle who had to be extricated.

Witnesses said the car was speeding, tried passing and then lost control while trying to get back over.
