A woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Fulton Township, according to state police. The woman was ejected from her vehicle in the crash, which state police said occurred at 3:17 p.m. She had yet to be identified as of this writing by state police, but Lancaster Online reported she was Amy Zahn, 24, of Nottingham.  A 30-year-old from Peach Bottom was driving the vehicle that was carrying Zahn. An 18-year-old from Downingtown was operating the other vehicle involved in the crash, according to state police.

A man was cited for a traffic violation after a collision Sunday in East Hanover Township that left one dead and at least three others seriously injured, state police said. While a state police news release did not go into details on what may have caused the collision, troopers responded around 1 a.m. to the area of Bow Creek and Firehouse roads. A passenger in the first vehicle, 26-year-old Harrisburg resident Brandon D. Faust, was pronounced dead shortly after troopers arrived.

Police have identified the suspect and victim involved in a hit-and-run accident in Lebanon early Saturday morning.

Darwin Almonte, 26, of Lebanon was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a driver who fled in the 900 block of North 7th Street at about 2:16 a.m. on Saturday, police said.

At 11:13 p.m. the same day, 21-year-old Chelsea Grischott of Lebanon called police, saying she had been involved in an accident on North 7th Street earlier on Saturday, according to police.

A 6-year-old West Finley boy was killed Wednesday night when he was ejected from a Jeep on Interstate 70 in Buffalo Township, police said. Dominic Rush was a passenger in a Jeep that lost control just east of the Taylorstown exit in Washington County at approximately 7:30 p.m., police said. The driver lost control, left the passing lane and traveled 342 feet in the median before the car rolled over on its roof. Dominic was ejected and pinned under the Jeep. Witnesses lifted the Jeep and removed the boy, police said. The driver was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital by a helicopter.

A Smethport man suffered major injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on Valley Crossroad, about a half-mile from Route 446 in Keating Township. Kane-based state police said Izach D. Hannahs, 19, of Smethport, was flown by Mercy Flight medical helicopter to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y., for treatment of his injuries. Police said a pick-up truck driven by Hannahs was traveling west on Valley Crossroad, when the vehicle went out of control during the negotiation of a left curve, traveled off the north berm and struck two trees.

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. —A 50-year-old Salem Township man died Monday afternoon when a car went off the road and crashed into trees in a Westmoreland County neighborhood.

David J. Seigh died after his vehicle left Manor Road and hit a large tree on Surrey Drive in Murrysville, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Seigh was not wearing a seat belt. Speed may have been a factor in the crash, officials said.

Toxicology results will not be available for several weeks, officials said.

Pennsylvania State Police in York County are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash. The accident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Carlisle and Fickes roads in Warrington Township. Investigators say the driver, 46-year-old Todd Ziegler of Dillsburg died at the scene. The coroner says Ziegler was not wearing a helmet.

A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead Thursday after his car landed on its roof in a creek in Scott Township. The blue Toyota Yaris landed in the shallow water underneath a small, wooden bridge that runs over Georges Run near Hope Hollow Road. "I was terrified. I thought someone was still in there, but they said they already took him out," said property owner Rita Hareza. "We've lived here for 60 years. Nothing's ever happened around here." Metal fencing from the side of the bridge where the car appeared to veer off was also damaged.

A woman was flown to a York County trauma center, after a three-vehicle crash Wednesday on Route 11 in Chambersburg, state police said. The crash was reported at 5:28 p.m. at the intersection of Route 11/Molly Pitcher Highway and Loop Road in Franklin County, according to a state police news release. Relying on witness accounts, state police determined the crash was caused by a vehicle driving south on Route 11 that ran a red light and collided with another vehicle that entered the intersection on a green light from Loop Road.

A Central Valley High School student died after a motorcycle and a car collided on Memorial Day in Potter Township, Beaver County.

The fatal accident on Raccoon Creek Road was reported at about 7:50 p.m. Monday. The coroner's office identified the victim as John Barbuto, 18, of Center Township.

We opened up the auditorium and we probably had 250 people here last night," Central Valley High School assistant principal Anthony Mendicino said Tuesday. "A lot of students, a lot of his friends, his family was here, his mom, dad and siblings."
