A mother and daughter from Glendale were killed in a crash in Texas. It happened at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lufkin, which is between Dallas and Houston. According to the Lufkin Police Department, 19-year-old Katrina Holloway was driving northbound on South First Street and failed to stop at a red light and collided with the back of a semi tractor-trailer. Her mother, 52-year-old Susan Holloway was a passenger in the front seat. According to KTRE-TV, the car was pinned more than halfway under the trailer, and emergency personnel had to bring in a crane to lift the trailer off the Volvo.
