One killed in Thursday night crash in Duluth's Endion neighborhood
The motorcycle rider, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the vehicle, a 63-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The intersection where the crash happened does not have stop signs or other types of traffic control. The crash remains under investigation; no other information was released Friday.
Victim identified in Duluth motorcycle crash
Authorities said Monday that Brandon Purdy, 23, of Duluth was riding a motorcycle west on Fifth Street at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday when he collided with a vehicle driven by Nancy Jo Crane, 63, of Ely, that was traveling north on 18th Avenue East.

She failed to yield to right at uncontrolled intersection. She got no tickets. She wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was not ticketed for that. She was also on her phone. No justice for a 23 year old who had a baby boy on the way.
