Ramon Gonzalez, 27, also known as Jadiel el Tsunami, killed in motorcycle accident in Rochester on Route 104.

Rochester Police said a motorcyclist was killed in a serious accident on Route 104 across from Maplewood Park.

Police said Ramon Gonzalez, 27, was traveling eastbound, before he lost control and crossed the road and into the path of an oncoming car.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died. 

Gonzalez is better known as his stage name "Jadiel el Tsunami."He was a famous Puerto Rican reggaeton singer.

A family friend said Gonzalez had millions of fans worldwide, especially in South America.

Gonzalez, who lived in Puerto Rico, was staying with family in Gates.

A second vehicle was also involved in the crash. The two passengers suffered minor injuries.

The events leading up to the accident are still under investigation, though westbound Route 104 is back open after remaining closed for several hours.
