A Rocklin man was killed and a Sacramento woman injured in a motorcycle accident in Tuolumne County.

The man, 52-year-old Troy Allen Smith, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, 62-year-old Margaret Landerville, suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Both were wearing a helmet, the CHP said.

Fatal Victim Identified

The CHP has released the name of a Rocklin man that was killed in a motorcycle accident in Tuolumne County.

Troy Allen Smith and Margaret Landerville were riding a motrocycle with a sidecar on Highway 120. The motorcycle lost control on a curve, left the roadway, and hit a tree. Smith was driving and declared dead at the scene. Landerville was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
