Quentin Anthony Buford, 36, Christina Robinson Deramus, 37, Robert Paul Gallet, 50, Damian Lee Gallet, 23, and Devan Jerica Gallet, 21, killed after SUV-pickup truck collision on Alabama Highway 22 near Clanton, AL

Authorities have confirmed that a two-vehicle accident in Chilton County Saturday claimed five lives. Quentin Anthony Buford, 36, of New Iberia, La., and Christina Robinson Deramus, 37, of Wetumpka were killed when the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Buford crashed head-on into the 2014 Nissan Rogue driven by Deramus. Three passengers in the Chevrolet also are also dead: Robert Paul Gallet, 50, Damian Lee Gallet, 23, and Devan Jerica Gallet, 21, all from Billingsley, were found dead at the accident site. Seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash. The crash occurred at 1:15 p.m. on Alabama 22 seven miles south of Clanton.
