A 12-year-old girl was killed Friday night when she was hit by a car on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville. The girl and two companions were crossing Northbound Gratiot between Eastgate shopping center and Glendale Street about 8:50 p.m. when she was hit. Neither of her companions were struck. She was transported to a local hospital where she died.
