Willie Wade Harsey, 47, dies in car crash on Neely Wingard Road in Lexington County, South Carolina

1 Killed, 2 Injured in Lexington County Crash

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the man killed as 47-year-old Willie Wade Harsey of Lexington. Fisher said an autopsy performed on Harsey found that he died at the scene due to his injuries.

Willie Wade Harsey was driving on Whiskey Road when he went to cross Neely Wingard Road, not stopping at a stop sign. His vehicle was struck by a Ford Escape that was traveling west on Neely Wingard, and he died at the scene. His passenger was injured. Two people in the Ford Escape were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Troopers say that Harsey was not wearing a seat belt.
