A woman passenger injured Sunday when the Harley Davidson she was riding was struck by a car died Wednesday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, the Florida Highway Patrol said Wednesday night.
The crash victim was identified as Norma Minton, 48, of Portland, Maine. The crash occurred when a car driven by Frank Pafumi, 76, of Osprey, crashed with the motorcycle on US-41 near Bayshore Drive. The driver was charged with failure to yield the right of way. The motorcycle driver, Anthony Ferguson, 53, of Englewood sustained serious injuries.
