Javion Walker, 14, killed in car collision with train at 7th Street and 22nd Avenue in Cordele, Georgia

It happened Thursday around 1:50 p.m. near 7th Street and 22nd Avenue in Cordele. According to a report, a white Dodge Dart with two people inside was traveling west on 22nd Avenue between 5th and 7th Street. Officials confirmed that one person has died after after a train collided with a car. Officials said 19-year-old Synia Curry was driving and 14-year-old Javion Walker was a passenger in the car when it was hit on the passenger side. Walker was taken to Crisp Regional Medical Center and listed in critical condition, and later died.
