Highway 145

Washington was pronounced dead by a local coroner who confirmed he died from blunt force trauma. He was apparently walking along Highway 145 when he was struck and killed by a car.

One man was killed Sunday in a head-on collision on Highway 145 near Highway 41 in Madera County, the California Highway Patrol reported. The dead man was identified Sunday night as Caleb Ryan Koop, 25, of Fresno, the Madera County Sheriff's Office said.
