Higley and Queen Creek roads

The accident occurred in the backyard of a home near Higley and Queen Creek roads around 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Gilbert. Authorities say a 14-year-old girl was swinging on a large wooden rope swing near the corner of the pool deck when the swing broke, knocking the teen into the pool.
