Interstate 205

The driver was driving his red 1993 Lincoln two-door down the onramp from east state Highway 500 to southbound I-105 when he lost control and struck the onramp barrier. The vehicle flipped and landed on its top. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

A driver, identified as Matthew Purifoy, 33, struck another vehicle on Interstate 205 and then exited to Northeast Andresen Road, where he struck and killed a woman at the intersection of NE Andresen Road and Vancouver Mall Drive.

A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 205 southbound sent at least two people to hospitals Sunday evening, said Trooper Will Finn of the Washington State Patrol. Shortly before 5 p.m., a trooper stopped a southbound driver on I-205 just north of 134th Street for suspicion of DUI.
