Richmond Avenue

The victim was driving a beige Ford F-150 pickup truck eastbound on Richmond Avenue at about 4:15 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck two trees in the median at the above address.  Paramedics pronounced the driver dead at the scene.  No other persons were inside the truck.

A motorcyclist was severely injured Tuesday evening in an accident on Richmond Avenue, just outside the NYPD's 121st Precinct stationhouse in Graniteville.

The motorcycle rider was transported to Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, in critical condition, police said.
