State Route 17 East

According to the DOT, the crash was a result of vehicles traveling too close to each other and excessive speed through the work zone. The number of injuries is unknown at this time

Nichols, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New York State Police identify the Tioga County woman who was killed in a head-on crash on State Route 17 East. Shirley McGee, 79, of Candor died in the crash Tuesday afternoon.
