Thayer Road and U.S. 30

A man who ran a stop sign at U.S. 30 died Friday, and seven other people were injured in the crash. William Edgar, 79, of Defiance, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Edgar drove his Ford F-150 truck north on Thayer Road, and failed to yield at the U.S. 30 intersection around 2:10 p.m.
