The northbound lanes of U.S. 23 reopened just south of Circleville following a crash involving a pedestrian early Thursday morning.
According to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office, a person was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt in the northbound lanes of U.S. 23 at about 4:47 a.m.
A news release from Greenup County Sheriff Keith M. Cooper said the crash Sunday afternoon involved two vehicles. The dead were identified as 43-year-old Tracie R. Howard of Portsmouth, Ohio; 22-year-old Ruby M. Brown of South Shore; and 30-year-old Jamond M. Buford of Ashland.
Police say the Swartz Creek teen, 18, was driving south on the northbound lanes about 10:15 p.m. Feb. 9 when he crashed into an oncoming car, killing Bailey-Collins and injuring her 11-year-old son and her new husband.
Four people were injured in a crash along U.S. 23 in Waverly Saturday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on northbound U.S. Route 23 in Pike County at about Noon.
