One killed after crash on Bankhead Highway.

One man was killed and two other people injured in a crash early Sunday in Jefferson County. Just before 2 a.m., Jefferson County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of Bankhead Highway near Bagley.

Just before 2 a.m., Jefferson County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of Bankhead Highway near Bagley. When they arrived on the scene, they found two men had been thrown from the car and the female driver was trapped inside, said Chief Deputy Randy Christian. The three were traveling in a 1998 Ford Mustang. Christian said they lost control of the car, left the road and struck a ditch. Bagley Fire Department paramedics arrived and began treating the injured and extricating the driver. Roger Allen Gray, 25, of Minor was one of the men ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman and the male both were both hospitalized, but are expected to survive, Christian said. Their names weren't released.
