The driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer was parked one mile south of Alabaster on the interstate when the car was struck by the driver of a Nissan Altima, according to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The Lancer caught fire after it was also struck by a Hyundai Sonata.

Daniel Joseph Robinson, a 28-year-old Calera man, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He is in the custody of the Shelby County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
