A 23-year-old Piedmont man was killed in a crash Monday evening, state troopers report.

The victim is identified as Jeremy Owen. Troopers say Owen was driving on Alabama 144 when his vehicle collided with another vehicle, went off the road and hit a tree near mile marker 23.7.
