Teen pedestrian struck, killed after Sunday morning Center Point car crash
The crash happened about 4:45 a.m. Jefferson County sheriff's deputies responded to the a report of a traffic accident on Center Point Parkway at Polly Reed Road. When they arrived on the scene, they found the girl - who just turned 16 - dead. Two other people suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, said Chief Deputy Randy Christian.
