1 dead, 1 injured after early morning crash in Cullman County

A single-vehicle crash took the life of one woman and injured another at 12:55 a.m. The crash occurred on County Road 1718, three miles north of Holly Pond. The driver of the vehicle, Jesse Elijah Durham, 34 of Baileyton, was injured and transported to Cullman hospital for treatment. Officials say, Aranda Nicole Wilson, 29 of Cullman, was killed when the 2007 Pontiac left the road and struck a tree.
